Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior manufacturing engineer in our Engineering Department. You will play an important role in helping us to grow our business. You will review customer drawings and specs, determine manufacturing processes, and create quotes in response to customer RFQs. You will develop manufacturing plans for parts and assemblies; use your CAD skills to work with customer drawings and design fixtures as necessary; and work with our operators to resolve manufacturing problems. You will also collaborate with our customers' engineering teams to resolve technical issues and to ensure that we meet our customer's delivery requirements.

For this position, we require a B.S. in Engineering (Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering preferred) and U.S. Citizenship (because we work on defense-related programs). However, to succeed in this position, you'll need the working knowledge of sheet metal (experience with titanium and/or nickel alloys is a plus) and manufacturing processes (including machining, bending, and welding) that you 've gained from your 5-7 years in a manufacturing environment. You'll also need strong CAD software skills (Solidworks, Catia and Unigraphics are what we use) as well as a proven ability to solve problems, work under tight deadlines, and juggle multiple projects and priorities. The ability to write and speak in a professional manner will also be important.
