Manufacturing Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an manufacturing engineer in our Engineering Department. Your responsibilites will include reviewing and translating drawings from our customers and creating manufacturing plans so that the parts can be manufactured on-time and with high quality. This will give you an excellent understanding of sheet metal manufacturing. You will also participate in contract review to ensure that our customers' production needs can be met, participate in continuous improvement projects, and provide technical support to our Production and Quality departments. You will work closely with our customers' engineering departments to resolve technical questions and ensure that we provide high-quality parts on-time.

For this position, we require a B.S. in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and U.S. Citizenship (because we work on defense-related programs). However, to succeed in this position, you'll need the working knowledge of manufacturing processes that you 've gained from your 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment, strong CAD software skills (Solidworks, Catia and Unigraphics are what we use) as well as a proven ability to solve problems, work under tight deadlines, and juggle multiple projects and priorities. Experience with estimating and/or creating manufacturing plans is a big plus.The ability to write and speak in a professional manner will also be important.
